In 2017, Marty took a leap of faith and started his own home remodeling company, Safety First Surface Solutions, or as you know it today, Safety First Remodeling. He started this company with the goal to make beautiful remodeling projects affordable for anyone that wanted to make their home more efficient, maintenance-free, and the most beautiful it can be.
Marty was married in 1986 to Cindy Sheridan. He has been blessed with 4 children and many wonderful grandchildren. He loves the lord and prays for humility daily. His focus for Safety First is customer satisfaction. His priorities include:
John Zak, Partner, Safety First Remodeling, Safety First Surface Solutions, Prime Bath of Nebraska and Iowa.
John came on full-time with Safety First in October 2020. He is a husband and a father of 6. John is active in his community of Glenwood, Iowa. He volunteers with the Knights of Columbus and is a member of the Glenwood School Board.
John has a background in Construction and has sold for one of the nation’s top remodeling companies in the past, as well as doing the installation for DMS Landscaping and installation and sales for Veteran Landscaping of Omaha. In addition to his construction work, John has driven CDL for over 8 years, working for various trucking companies. And owning his own rig, and company. John has worked in Ag for the Co-Op, in the energy sector, including sales, installation, and delivery.
John is a Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and served as an Infantryman in Afghanistan from June 2004 through June 2005. In his free time, John Zak spends time with his 5 children and is the coach for several different sports teams his children play for.
Personal hobbies and interests are anything related to the great outdoors. I love fishing, hunting, archery, and riding my Harley. I have been in sales for over 30 years. I have been in the home improvement industry for 8 years.
My goals are to help others achieve their goals. I get satisfaction from assisting homeowners to achieve their dreams in their homes. I found my calling 8 years ago when I started with a home improvement company. I feel very blessed to be working for Safety First Remodeling. Marty Sheridan, my employer is a man of integrity which I admire, and he always puts the customers’ needs first.
Our team doesn’t just sell you a remodeling project and hope for the best. Our team will help you design your remodeling project. Our Safety First team will be on-site making sure everything we discussed with the homeowner is what they receive.
Marty’s goal for Safety First is maintaining the highest quality in home remodeling and to make beautiful homes affordable for all homeowners.
